Below you’ll find much of what you need to know about me. But the bottom line is I’m a fun, spunky girl and strong, passionate leader who’s “all in” for the Kingdom of God.
I’ve spent my life communicating on the stage as a concert singer and musical theater performer, in television as a QVC on-air Spokesperson, at church and in the classroom. As a professional communicator, inspiring people has been a core part of my work. NancyHicksLive has grown out of what most inspires me: knowing Christ, and expressing and igniting a life of passion for Him.
As an 18 month old toddler, I came home from my first church service singing about God. My mother, who wanted nothing to do with Him, remembers thinking, “what’s gotten into this child?” Soon after, she became a follower of Christ.
As a young girl of 5, my abusive father left my mom, two sisters and me. I was a Christian, but I was angry and damaged.
Marriage and motherhood have forced me to work through that brokenness. Throughout my adult life, God has continually reminded me of His truth and called me out of hiding. He has shown me that a truly intimate relationship with Him is infectious and transformative.
My passion for Christ continues to grow. I’m a herald of His message of love, transformation and freedom – which are ongoing realities in my life. I am passionate about leading people in any stage of their journey with God through speaking, Bible teaching and mentoring. As a leader in my local church in Wayne, PA, I love to equip and inspire people to adore Christ and express it, by loving others and pointing them to Him.
NancyHicksLive is the culmination of that story. It’s an itinerant speaking ministry that takes all that God has poured into me – life, passion, skill – and pours it out to others.
Experience:
In 2006 I joined QVC, the world’s largest multi-platform electronic retailer as an on-air spokesperson and style expert, inspiring millions of viewers to embrace and reflect beauty. Originally through apparel, I now weave that message through QVC’s Home category.
My early career was as a singer performing primarily in concert and musical theater throughout North America and Europe. I’m originally from Toronto, so some of my favorite venues/performances have been in Canada:
- Toronto’s Roy Thomson and Massey Halls (Canada)
- Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre (Canada)
- Ottawa’s National Arts Centre (Canada)
- Singing for International General, Eva Burrows of The Salvation Army
Education:
- Honors Degree, Voice Performance – University of Toronto
- Master of Theology – Palmer Theological Seminary (Former Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary) – Eastern University.
Local Church:
As a leader in my local church in Wayne, PA, (Bible Teacher, former Outreach Coordinator for Women’s Ministry) I love to equip and inspire all women to adore Christ and express it, in large measure by loving others and pointing them to Him.
Family:
Cam and I were married in 1990 – and still goin’ strong! We live in Wayne, PA, and have two flown-the-coop grown sons, David and Aaron.

As an experienced business woman, I lovingly keep Nancy organized and on her toes! Outside of the ministry, you can find me spending time with my favorite creatures: awe- inspiring horses.

My engineering background allows me to keep the ministry operating and thriving – praise God! Voted friendliest in 1990 (way back!) and still today..watch out, I might just give you a hug!
