Vlog: More Real

Nancy Hicks Vlog 33 – Excellence in the Church

Hello Dear Friend,

Probably because we’re on the heels of Labor Day – (hope you had a great weekend!)  but I got thinking about work…which then got me thinking about work in the Church.

(Now, if you’re not a church kinda person, I’d especially love you to lean in and give me your thoughts.)

Do you bring the best of who you are to whatever group of people you call church?  This is a great time to ask yourself:

Am I excited to plug in?  To make a difference?  To offer with great gusto and equal humility all you have and are to the work of God through the gathering of God’s people, a.k.a the Church?  If not, explore with me, why not.  Check out the video!

I’m real because God is so real.  ~ Nancy

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.  It is the Lord Christ you are serving.  Colossians 3:23,24

HIS GREAT. Anointing, oh my and it is not always th Sam, but I felt that I was moved when it was not tie! Nothing was said, no clarification!

Yes, I wasCRUSHED,! I am in a church that operates in the Prophetic realm???? One day , we will understand it all!!
    Thanks. Nancy!

It’s hard to be fully yourself in any gathering of people…sometimes especially our beloved Church. Glad you persevered, Paulette. Bless you!

Who are “they” you mention as not making use of the Saints’ gifts to the church, or as not edifying the Saints about their gifts?

Perhaps you should be addressing the shepherds, and not the sheep.

    • Nancy Hicks says:

      Hi Charlie,

      Thanks for engaging.

I agree, and I am addressing both the shepherds and the sheep. We all need to be aware of, making space for and moving toward everyone doing what God has created and called us to. All hands on deck!
